Trips

Hey… me not a complete Techie by the way. I love roaming and exploring new places. And this interest came up simultaneously with Engineering. Following is a synopsis of some of my most memorable trips.

GOA:

Dude, this was a rocking trip . It was a trip organised by the IEEE committee of our college. My previous trips to Goa had made me a virtual guide for my friends. We roamed right from the Southern to the Northern parts of Goa on bikes. And yeah, the night life was mind blowing. IF you want to enjoy the night life besides the beaches of India, then Goa is the place to go.

LADAKH:

The idea on going on this trip was damn weird. A group of seven friends just sitting and having coffee came up with this idea of going to Ladakh, the Paradise of India. And guess what, within a period of two days, we were on our way. Having left only with the train tickets and knowing our return date, it was a toally unplanned trip. This is what increased the excitement.

The route we took was Mumbai-Dehli-Manali-Leh. And hey!! what a route. We almost froze to death by the time we reached Ladakh. Imagine a transition from 34 degree C of Mumbai to sub-zero temperatures of Ladakh.

Overall, it was one of my most memorable trips and left unforgettable memories of this Heaven on Earth.

By the way, if you plan to visit Ladakh, don’t forget to visit Nubra Valley ( The desert surrounded by mountains clad in snow.) Hey!!! I mean it man. It’s literally a desert full of sand dunes at that height. Now, can you beat that.!!!!

BHUTAN:

Another trip with four of my friends. Two friends of the Ladakh gang ditched us at the last moment. But we were damm sure on goin on with the trip. Dude, this was another fun-filled trip. We visited Bhutan, called the ‘ Himalayan Kingdom, ‘ in June. Guess what, we were greeted wih rains all throughout our 20 day trip. But who won’t enjoy the rains man.

We went from Mumbai to Calcutta first. Stayed there for a couple of days and then moved further to Assam. Spending four days in the Rain Forests of India was a noteworthy experience. Finally, we left for the 14 day exploration of Bhutan.

Hey!!! who says Bhutan isn’t a good place. The scenic beauty of the place really appalled us. It beats every damm place man. Hey!!! not India though. Visiting the reomte parts of Bhutan was really exciting and understanding the culture and traditions of the place was a great experience.

Do visit this place if you planning for a North-East India visit. Dude, it’s worth being there.
